Our 2nd Anniversary fell on Easter Sunday in 2003 which didn't leave us with many options to celebrate. Tom - always the thoughtful husband - wanted to take me somewhere special - somewhere that would make me truly happy. So on Saturday, April 19th, 2003, Tom surprised me with an impromptu trip to my favorite teddy bear store in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania - Boyds Bear Country store! Tom was sweet enough to buy me the biggest bear in the store!

Afterwards, we took time to tour the Gettysburg battlefield and town before our romantic dinner at the historic, Dobbin House Inn restaurant.
