Long overdue for an update! Tom & I were sick most of January and February - Tom with bronchitis and me with pneumonia. It was awful!

We went car shopping several times in January, and I finally bought myself a new car! It's a Chrysler Sebring, and it's so sporty! Love it!

Our Westie Summer developed a mammary tumor (it was malignant) and had to have it removed surgically. She's undergoing chemo for the cancer and has been sick recently - low white cell count. We had to rush her to the emergency clinic last week after she spiked a fever. Thank goodness I learned how to take a dog's temperature! Ick!

We began home remodeling phase II: we're renovating the living room, dining room, exterior, and kitchen...paint, flooring, furniture...the works!

We just picked out new furniture and some of it will be delivered this weekend. A few of the special order items will arrive in a couple of months once the upholstery is finished. It's going to look awesome!

The project du jour is a massive wooden display case to hold my bear collection - and it's nearly complete!

It's just been a crazy chaotic year thus far, and we're flying by on the seat of our pants. Just not sure if that's such a good thing.
