Christmas is almost here, and we're not ready! Can you believe it?! 2005 is almost over! The halls in our house haven't been decked with holiday cheer yet -- we're still scrambling to get the living room in order to put up a tree!

It's been an extra snowy and wintry December so far. We had our first significant snowfall on Thanksgiving, of all days! And we've pretty much had snow on the ground every day since. Another snowfall is scheduled to slam in this evening. It definitely looks Christmassy outside.

Things have been chaotic as we try to wrap up projects at work and around the house in time to enjoy the holidays. As I already said, we don't even have our trees up yet (although Tom did manage to do the lighting outside so if you happen to drive by, you might just see a giant 8' Santa on the roof!)

Oh and we're celebrating with a new addition to the family! Oatmeal, the cat, will be celebrating his first Christmas with us this year! The Westies and Randy have a new brother to ring in the New Year!
